  Township Zoning By-law Amendment Open House

  The township will be holding a public open house to discuss potential general housekeeping amendments to their Zoning By-law application number Z24-15. This will take place in council chambers and online via Zoom. The date will be 5 p.m. on Friday April 4, 2025.

  Further to that a public meeting will be held at the same location and on Zoom on Tuesday May 6^th, 2025 at 9 a.m.

  The purpose of the meetings will be to present a proposed Township-wide Housekeeping Zoning By-law Amendment which will clarify the entirety of the Zoning By-law by correcting errors, re-formatting tables and text, and improving consistency with policies. The effect of the proposed amendments to achieve AODA compliance, re-organize general provisions by waterfront community, be more user friendly, correct errors, and improve the usability of the Zoning By-Law until a comprehensive review and update takes place.

• Charity Golf Tournament for Food Bank

  In cooperation with our neighbouring cottage associations, we are participating in a charity golf tournament to benefit the food bank that will take place on Saturday May 10^th at Seguin Valley Golf Course.  The price is $150, which includes cart, BBQ chicken and rib dinner, and prizes. Ideally, we will be looking for three teams of four players to represent Six Mile Lake. We are also looking for prize donations to go into a silent auction. The deadline for registration is April 30^th, 2025.
